Random Haul

We are all guilty of doing plenty of online shopping during lockdown aren’t we and it didn’t help that my birthday was also during lockdown and I had birthday and Christmas money to spend ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️ Plus this is just a haul of things that I have purchased over the last few months so it wasn’t bought all at once. Most of this stuff is still available to buy online as well so you can have a look yourself.

I’m going to start with beauty buys which I found as there are some amazing things!

Lash Lift Kit
My friend at work recommended this to me a few months ago and I could never decide whether to get it or not but I finally bit the bullet and got it and I am so excited for it to come. This beauty is only £12.64 on Amazon and you can buy it here.

Yes To Watermelon Gel Moisturiser
Throughout lockdown I have realised that my skin has become more dry so I decided to purchase a moisturiser. I usually have quite oily skin so I tend to go for lighter moisturisers and this one seems great. It also smells absolutely beautiful! You can buy it here

Anastasia Beverly Hills- Riviera Palette
This is a palette I have been wanting for ages! I was never sure on getting it because of the bright colours but we ended up getting a few in at work for only £25 but I missed out. I then found it on Selfridges for £27 so it was a massive bargain! Couldn’t say no at that price. Unfortunately they must have stopped selling it everywhere but as soon as TK Maxx stores reopen, I would maybe check there too as they might have some left over stock.

Jeffree Star- Gemini Lipstick
I know there is a lot of hate towards Jeffree Star and his brand but honestly his products are some of the best I have ever used so why stop buying from the brand? I already have this lipstick in Androgyny and it’s my fave so I had to buy another and it’s the perfect shade I’d been after for a long time so of course why not? I just can’t wait to get out and wear it. I purchased it for £16 from Beauty Bay, you can buy it here

Shampoo Brush
I recently stopped using a lightening shampoo for my hair and switched to a Schwarzkopf one which I love, it smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling great but the one problem is that I get such bad dandruff with it. I saw these scalp brushes online and heard they are great to promote hair growth and to exfoliate the scalp, I haven’t used mine yet but I am hoping it works since I am so paranoid about dandruff. The brush I got feels a little bit flimsy so it may be best that Asos have stopped selling it but this is the one I originally wanted by Lee Stafford.
Coffee Scrub
I have been wanting to try a coffee scrub for absolutely ages, Aldi got loads in but I missed out and been waiting ever since for them to come back in and it never happened so I just thought I would buy another one. I looked for the best one for stretch marks and scars and came across this one by Frank Body, I haven’t used it yet but when I do I will update you! I purchased this for £14 from Look Fantastic, you can buy it here

Mac- Burning Love Lipstick
I came across this lipstick shade on Pinterest and absolutely fell in love with it! I was afraid it was going to be too similar to Diva as I already have that one but it’s not so that’s good, it’s probably as dark but it’s more purpley than Diva so if you’re looking for something like that this is the one. I cannot wait to wear this out! I bought it for £19 from Mac and you can buy it here

Nars- Climax Mascara
In my defence, this is Alexa’s fault. Throughout January, Alexa’s send me a sample feature included Nars. You could try out either a blush, a lipstick or a mascara so I thought I would go for the mascara. This is such a stunning mascara so I had to get the full size version, I mean I guess I did need a new mascara my old Mac one was running out so it might be a good thing ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. I ended up purchasing this for £22 from Asos. You can buy it here
Too Faced- Lip Injection
My best friend bought a lip plumping lipgloss months ago and I absolutely loved it so I thought about getting one myself. I could’ve sworn she had the too faced one so I got that thinking it’s the same ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️ It definitely wasn’t so my bank account was screaming that little bit more but overall the lipgloss is great! I tried it out when I bought it and loved it. It definitely tingles for awhile and feels weird but it calms down eventually. I was a bit scared at first because I thought I was having a reaction to it since the tingling lasted awhile but it was fine afterwards so it was all good. I bought it for £22 from Asos and you can buy it here.

I also bought a few home bits and got some absolute bargains and great ideas.

Devil Wears Prada Print
The Devil Wears Prada is one of my all time favourite films. I thought I would have a look on Etsy to see if I can find any good prints and found the most perfect one which I cannot wait for, I just need another print for another frame I have and they can go up but I will be having a look on Etsy again. I got this quote from the film as it’s my personal favourite and the prints can be bought
here

Heart Toast Racks
I got this idea from a Facebook page and think it’s amazing. These toast racks were part of the Poundland Valentines range and of course were only £1 each. Someone on Facebook used them as racks to hold their palettes in and it looked great so I followed that idea and got 3. I can’t find them online but I’m sure they will have some left over if you check your local Poundland. This is the picture I found on Facebook and got my inspiration from.

Merino Wool Blanket
This is most definitely my favourite home item that I bought, I have wanted one of these chunky knitted blankets for ages but they are so expensive! I saw one in Home Bargains last year that had no price on it so I didn’t end up getting one and I’m so glad I waited because I found one a few weeks ago in a nicer colour and it was only £25! Also from Home Bargains. I was in there the other day and there was still one left on the shelf so definitely check your local store if you’re after one of these.

From the back end of January, I started on Slimfast and have been doing well on it. So the next few bits I picked up are all related to Slimfast and weight loss.

Slimfast 7 Day Starter Kit
To kickstart the diet, I bought a 7 day starter pack for Slimfast which came with shakes, meal replacement bars and sweet and savoury snacks. I purchased this for £20 from Amazon and you can buy it here.

When I was running out of food and meal replacements I just kept going on Amazon and purchasing my favourite flavours of things and things to try.

Slimfast Shakes
Some of my favourite shakes I purchased include strawberry, chocolate, mint chocolate and cookies and cream is my next one to buy as these are amazing! The shakes retail for £9.50 a pack. You can buy them here.

Slimfast Meal Replacement Bars
My favourite meal replacement bars include very berry, rocky road and chocolate orange. You can buy these from Superdrug or sometimes in bulk on Amazon. From Superdrug they retail for £5.50 a box and you can buy them here.

Lighter Life Salted Caramel Meal Replacement Bars
For meal replacement bars, I have bought a couple of extra ones from different brands and they are just as nice. The first ones are also from Amazon and are by the brand Lighter Life and these ones are salted caramel flavour. I purchased these for £18 and you can buy them here

Asda Great Shape Vanilla Caramel Meal Replacement Bars
Another brand of meal replacement bars I bought were Asda’s own Great Shape range. I picked up the vanilla caramel flavour and they are nice but can be a bit sickly towards the end. You can buy them here

Skinny Food Co Recipe Book
A company who are great for weight loss are the Skinny Food Co. My mum came across a recipe book from them the other day so I also purchased that to give me some meal ideas. This book retails for £10 from The Skinny Food Co. and can be bought here.
BeWater Bottle
Although this isn’t exactly weight loss, I mainly got this bottle just to try and tempt me to drink more water. Not only do I need it for walks I have been going on but I need it as I suffer with a lot of water infections due to dehydration and gluten intolerance life ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. These bottles are the prettiest bottles you will ever see. They are great for anyone who believes in crystal healing but also just look pretty. This bottle retails for £30 from BeWater and can be bought here.

Fitness Tracker Bracelet
Since dieting, I have been going on a lot more walks and thought about getting a Fitbit for when I get back to work as well since I can’t have my phone on the shop floor with me. These ones are only £20.39 each and do the same as what the more expensive Fitbits do. I purchased this whilst writing this post so it’s due to arrive tomorrow and I am excited to see how I get on with it. You can buy it here.

Although I’m not a big jewellery wearer, I bought a few pieces of jewellery that I either really liked or wanted for a long time and got with birthday and Christmas money.

Love Bangle
I was looking on the Warren James website originally for birthday presents and came out with 1 and then a treat for me ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️ This bangle looked absolutely stunning and I wanted one I could wear with my new watch even though now I’m not sure it will go. This bangle was £39 and you can buy it here.

Tiffany Tag Earrings
Tiffany earrings are something I have been wanting for years! I was very lucky to have been given a lot of birthday and Christmas money so I decided to put it towards things I’ve been wanting for awhile. I was literally even obsessed with the packaging when these came that is how sad I am! And no I’m not getting rid of it neither. These retail for £165 from Tiffany & Co and you can buy them
here.
Michael Kors Watch
Something else I had been wanting for a very long time is a Michael Kors watch and I decided to get this with my birthday money as well. I’ve tried to find it on the Watch Shop website or anywhere really but it looks like I got one that may have been discontinued since which is such a shame because it’s a stunning watch! I am absolutely in love with mine and think I paid around £150 for it with student discount on top.

Pandora Earrings
The final piece of jewellery I got were some Pandora earrings. I also got these for my birthday from my parents as I lost my favourite ones a few weeks before either at work or in town ๐Ÿ˜ญ. These earrings are absolutely stunning and are climbers so they look even prettier. They retail for £45 and you can buy them here

I ended up getting just a few random bits as well, a couple of bits I needed, the rest I really didn’t ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️

Mixed Hot Chocolate Box
For Christmas, I got a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser and ended up drinking that much hot chocolate I ran out of the pack I got with it ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️ So this time I decided to get a mixed box to try all the different flavours. I haven’t had many yet with dieting but so far the ones I’ve had are amazing, especially the orange one ๐Ÿ˜. I bought this box for £14 and you can buy it here.

Glass Screen Protectors
The other day I was on my phone and found another scratch on my screen and I realised too late that I needed a glass screen protector so I went on EBay and got some even though I haven’t put it on yet... I purchased mine for £3.95 which was a bargain as I got 2 and some wipes to help with the application. You can buy them
here.

Pua Soft Toy
I really didn’t need this at all but I’ve been contemplating it for awhile and finally purchased one yesterday. I am a huge Moana fan and absolutely love Pua I think he is adorable. I bought him for £14.59 from Amazon and you can buy him here.

Swizzels X Posh Paws Fries Soft Toy
This was something else I definitely didn’t need! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️ I was on Facebook and came across these Swizzels toys from Tesco for Valentines and saw this box of fries which I found adorable, each toy holds a love hearts sweet and this one says ‘Fries before guys’ they also each have a card with their name on and a quote mine is called Frenchy which I love even more ๐Ÿ˜‚. They retail for £10 at Tesco or you can buy them on eBay here.

Personalised Bag
The final item I bought was inspired by a friend on Instagram who had just bought herself one as a birthday present. Hers was definitely a lot better quality but I really love mine. It’s a lot smaller than I thought but that’s my fault for reading the measurements wrong. I bought mine for £35 from Beautify and you can buy yours here

That’s all the bargains that I have been picking up lately, I am so happy with everything I bought and like I said I bought them over the last couple of months and not all at once or my bank account would be screaming a lot more than it already is! I would love to see everybody else’s bargains that they are buzzing with at the moment.
